1. Do you believe in Heaven?
Yes, indeed. I'm a Christian, with a mix of conservative and radical beliefs that would probably scare conservatives and radicals alike. And I'll leave it at that. XD
2. Have you ever come close to dying?
I scared myself almost to death a few times while learning to drive. Haven't we all?
3. What jewelry do you wear 24/7?
Nothing 24/7. My most-worn pieces are replica necklaces of Arwen Undomiel's evenstar and the wolf symbol of FFVII. Also, whenever I go to work, I wear a ring with a little pink rhinestone on my left ring finger. I call it my old man repellant--and boy, do I need it! Sadly, it doesn't work with all old guys. Some old guys are bold, I tell you.
4. Would you ever consider having plastic surgery?
No way. Not unless I'd gotten in a car accident like Mark Hamill, or something like that. I'll age naturally, thank you very much.
5. What do you wear to bed?
Who cares? LOL. Sometimes a little nightgown, sometimes a t-shirt and undies. Just depends on my mood.
6. Have you ever done anything illegal?
Does listening to music in a language I can't understand and identifying with it more than some music in my own language count as illegal?
7. Who was the last person that you touched?
Um, I really don't know. Oh, wait. It was my brother. I was whacking him to keep him from sitting on the counter top, because that's what loving big sisters do.
8. Where did you eat last?
My room.
9. Besides your own blog, are there any that you routinely read but never comment on?
Nope. If there's no reason to comment, there's not much reason to read, is there?
10. Ever been involved with the police?
I was in the car with my brother when he got pulled over for forgetting to put on his headlights at night. We got off Scott free, probably 'cause somebody had just eaten a particularly delicious donut and was in a good mood. XD
11. Do you talk in your sleep?
Probably. Usually, nobody else is awake to hear me.
12. Now a celebrity fantasy. Who would you take on a ménage à trois for a dirty weekend?
Um, I'm not really into trios, unless they are strictly friendship and/or comedy. I would gladly sit back and watch the comedic fireworks if Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, and Elizabeth Swann were all marooned on a tiny island together.
13. Do you feel that you’ve had a truly successful life?
Depends on what you mean by 'successful'. If that implies the achievement of all my goals, no, that hasn't happened yet. We'll see how it works out.
14. Where do you wish you were?
I'm pretty happy being here in the American Southwest. Only things I want are
a) the discipline and skills necessary to write fantastic books
b) those books to be published and then loved by other obsessive people like me
c) those fantastic, beloved, published books to make me enough money tolive on splurge on all the clothes, accessories, and fandom-related things I want and help younger siblings through college
d) a man with whom I'd like to share a mutual, life-long devotion, but most importantly
e) the strength to live on happily whether I get those aforementioned things or not.
15. Have you ever ridden in an ambulance?
No, thank God.
16. Is there any type of dancing that you love to do?
I like waltzing, and I'd love to learn the dances in Jane Austen movies--but I don't know any men with whom I'd enjoy dancing. You can only dance so many times with your dad.
17. Last gift you received?
Can't remember. My mind is full of all the Christmas presents I'm buying early for family and friends. (And, okay, also a few I've gotten for myself, too.)
18. Last sport you played?
Bowling.
19. Last place you went on holiday?
People go places on holidays? Not me. I like to stay at home, stress-free.
20. Current song?

2. too many near death experiences, mostly concerned with cars...and to think that people are more afraid of flying...
3. gold studs in my ears. they never leave my ears. been wearing studs since i was a tiny little munchkin...
4. not sure really, i have hated my body too long and have been trying to fight the superficial culture at the same time, so i am pretty much at a crossroads...
5. depends. sometimes i am too lazy for anything. yes i am that lazy that even putting on a nightie is too much trouble.

Date: 2011-10-15 12:45 am (UTC)I haven't seen OST yet, mostly because I'm just jittery about getting grossly disappointed. On one hand, my brothers said it wasn't nearly as good as the first three; on the other hand, people I've talked to at work claim it's the best of the series. (Yeah, right.)
I'll just have to try it . . . sometime. After I actually work up the gumption to see the last HP movie, despite the fact that I know I'm going to be crying my eyes out all movie long.
I like this answer. I need to keep that in mind more often.
I forget it almost as soon as I think of it. It's so easy to slip into thinking I MUST get published or I will DIE a thousand times inside in slow, silent AGONY.
