Except I foresee some of what the Chick calls "Forced Peej Conflict" regarding Legolas and the red-haired lady elf. Hm. Will come back to that, possibly.
Yeah, I was expecting at least a hint of a romance, mirroring Aragorn and Arwen from the other movies. But not something this overt. Not sure how I feel about it, either. Tauriel wasn't even in the books, so it's not like PJ's changing an established character, like he did Faramir. But still . . .

Yeah, I'm divided between annoyance and intrigue. Can't quite decide what to think. (Though I think the annoyance is mostly from the part of me that ships Legolas with Arwen. XD)
