shalowater. I'm sorry it took me so long to make these--it was a pain getting a copy of the DVD! That said, I love this movie's cinematography to bits. Everything is so freaking pretty! (Especially Jonathan Rhys Meyers. He needed more scenes. WAY more scenes. How did I never notice him before?)
I thought the portrayal of Alexander himself was way too romanticized, though. Didn't he adopt Eastern customs, dress in particular, purely as a shrewd, calculating political move? I'm no expert, but Alexander always seemed like one crafty, devious dude to me. What say you?
