To make a confession, I've never seen the entire movie--only snippets. I think the only Tim Burton movies I've seen in full are James and the Giant Peach (I was raised on that one!) and Big Fish. Crazy, I know.

your coloring on these is perfect!! gorgeous! the title says more, i was looking for the first part of the icons. i would love to see more tutorials from you, especially for scary movies and some tv shows.

ZOMG I'm wigging out! I saved a boatload of your textures about two years ago, back when I was a lurker just trying to figure out how to make icons (and therefore couldn't comment to say thanks). I'm so excited that you've commented! /spasm

haha. really? well your skills are awesome. i am glad you liked my textures back then. i love to make textures but when i try to use them they look odd to me. i guess my skills at using them are off or my confidence. i am not sure. anyways, i love your coloring and the lighting textures in your work, as well as the text in the harry potter icons. i have looked at your icons and your tutorials. they are great. i do still love your style in the scary/gothy movies and stuff the best. they have a certain old or smokey feel to them. i like your sleepy hollow icons and your vampire (interview and underworld) icons the best. they are great. i have a hard time coloring dark movies like that. i would love to make more icons of them. vampire movies are my one of my favorites. vampires in general actually. despite that people think i am talented, i do rely on tutorials all the time really.

Awww, thanks for your kind words! I think pretty much everybody relies on tutorials. Without them, I would never have gotten into making icons. Period.

These are AMAZING and I love them. I love the shots you picked, and I love Katrina. You manage to make colours pop in the icons without ever losing that chilly, eerie atmosphere of the movie.
