She was wonderful. I believe she played Elphaba when the show was still in its workshop stage, and was supposed to be part of the original Broadway cast, but they felt they needed a bigger celebrity to debut the role. I love Idina Menzel's Elphaba, but Stephanie's was really...more personal, if that makes sense. I didn't think anyone could give Idina a run for her money, but Stephanie did.
