By being AWESOME that's how! The boy can rock anything. ANYTHING. (Well...let's say I've yet to see him fail at rocking something. I mean, J-rockers occasionally have a sense of style I find baffling.)

I'm inclined to agree. He can even make something you don't like initially grow on you, as evidenced (in my case, at least) by the dreads for all those 20th L'anniversary lives.
