Yeah, I was expecting at least a hint of a romance, mirroring Aragorn and Arwen from the other movies. But not something this overt. Not sure how I feel about it, either. Tauriel wasn't even in the books, so it's not like PJ's changing an established character, like he did Faramir. But still . . .
