SOPA/PIPA hasn't even been made law yet . . . and already, toes are being tread on. Or rather, pulverized.

Here is an article detailing the shutdown of Megaupload and the seizure of its two co-founders--and also 50 million dollars.

50. Million. Dollars.

That's what it's all about. Forget that it isn't the actual founders of the site that are responsible for all the alleged illegal file-sharing. There's 50 million dollars up for grabs, people! Open season! Tally ho!

And I know this is going to sound cliche, but I don't want to live on this planet anymore.

Is that what happened? Damn. I've seen a lot of complaints about Megaupload getting shut down, but mostly the complaints were about stuff they could no longer get for free.

But…damn. That's a lot of money. And yeah, not all file sharing is actually illegal.
