I saw Hellboy II for the first time a couple years ago. (Or was it three?) I was curious to see what a Guillermo Del Toro movie looked like, because back then, he was supposed to direct The Hobbit, and I wanted to get a feel for what I might expect. (Wow, have I really been waiting that long to see The Hobbit?) It didn't take long for me to form a favorable impression. I just watched the scene with a shirtless elf training with a lance, and thought, "Oh, yeah, this is a good movie." Yay! I thought I was the only person currently on LJ that likes Hellboy. (Or, rather, Prince Nuada. LOL.)
Hellboy and Liz weren't an official canon couple in the comics? Wow, I didn't know that! (Guess I should probably read up on the comics some time.)
