I'm more of a Spock fan myself, but Chris Pine's portrayal of Kirk in the new movie actually made me miss Shatner. LOL. I would snag the icon anyway, but I don't have the icon space. :(

While the original Kirk will always be my favorite, I love Spock too! But only the original Spock.

I recently purchased The Original Series and have been obsessively watching it, I had almost forgotten how much I loved it. I haven't had the 'pleasure' of that movie. After reading/watching a couple of interviews with the 'new' cast, I refuse to watch the reboot on principal.

I recognize no other Spock besides Leonard Nimoy's portrayal. So we're pretty much in the same boat. :D

I just watched the Star Trek VI movie for the first time with my RL BFF, and now I'm wanting to watch the Original Series all the way through again. I, too, have almost forgotten just how much I love it, especially all the moments with Spock and Bones arguing. <3

Aside from Karl Urban's stellar performance as Bones, I didn't like the reboot much. I admire your principal to ignore it. :D

Spock and Bones did have some spectacular moments. I just finished watching 'The Empath' And Spock told Bones that his actions were grossly unethical after the doctor had stuck him with a hypo needle when Spock's back was turned(the look on Spock's face was hysterical!)

Ooh, they're all lovely. That black and white is great--surprisingly so on Jack Sparrow. I'm so used to seeing him all flamboyant, y'know? But it works great with the blending.

Thank you! Johnny Depp really is one of the few men that pulls off eyeliner really, really well.

Interesting enough, I just watched the first PotC movie with my RL BFF. She'd never seen it before, nor realized Orlando Bloom was in it--so I had to make her watch it. Halfway through the movie, she said, "I officially have a crush on Will Turner." Mwa ha ha. My work here is done. :)
