Love the POTC one! Haven't read any POTC fics in forever, and I've grown to have a lot more appreciaton of Will over time (I always liked him, but I was a Jack and James fangirl right from COTBP on:)).

I have some problems with the sequels, but I think Will turned out to have the best and most satisfying character arc.

I like how Will's disappointment comes across so strongly in your fic - that he imagined all of the things his father was doing, but it never occurred to him that he could be a pirate. It's just so realistic and true to Will's character.
