They sound so brilliant live. I pick my artists like that. They have to be good live.

*thumbs up* Indeed!

Wow. This song is lots better live. Wow.

Definitely agree with the above comment as well--I want my favorite artists to be able to put on a good show.

Yup. What kills me is this happened three years ago within a few hours' drive from where I live. I wasn't a fan then, and I probably wouldn't have been able to drive myself there, but still . . .

Aww, man! That stings. That happened to me with Cinema Bizarre as a matter of fact--they'd been through a city just a few hours drive from me earlier that same year, and months later the band broke up. Grrrr! If only I'd gotten into the fandom sooner.

And then there's my continued regret about missing the Hanson show at the NorVa last year, but even that's not as bad because they're still a band and still touring, so I'll probably get another chance eventually. Still--grrrrr!

Wow, that bit about Cinema Bizarre is sad. I hate it when bands break up. I know it's sometimes inevitable and blah blah blah, but it doesn't make the fans feel any less bummed.

Somebody needs to hurry up and invent teleportation. That would solve almost all of the various geographic band-related problems. (Plotbunnies are telling me that if teleportation was invented, it would end up getting used for something far more devious, but I'm going to ignore them right now.)

I KNOW! I was annoyed, not just because of the breaking up part, because I felt like I just got there. In the fandom, I mean. It was like coming to the party just in time to grab the last piece of cake. Like, "Well that was tasty, but is that it? No more yum-yums?" :(

HAHAHA--yeah, I totally would too. I'd go to so many cons...

That's the perfect way to describe it. :)
