Yesterday was movies, movies, and more movies for me. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Complete on Blu-Ray (every time I watch this, I'm reminded just how helpless I am against the combination of pretty hair and sword-fighting) and Phantom of the Opera 2005, followed by Fellowship of the Ring and Hellboy II (also featuring pretty hair and sword-fighting). But me and my family paused HII at midnight to cover each other in silly string, before going back for another round of "Can't Smile Without You". XD

I'll spam you all with videos, just for fun.

Best ACC video I could find on YouTube. WARNING: Spoilers for those who haven't seen the Complete version yet.

Here's my favorite song from PotO. I want a subterranean lair of my own!

The Council of Elrond scene from LotR. Because I grin like an idiot whenever I watch this scene. XD

And also a fight scene clip from HII. (Why is there no HQ clip of Nuada's beginning training scene on YouTube? That's the best part of the movie!)

All in all, it was a great beginning to the new year.

How is 2012 treating the rest of you?

Whatching LOTR was much more fun then watching cartoons:

My 8 years old son: Hey, mom, stop the video, I wanna to look at orcs (or any other monsters) again! Them are so funny...

Me: %&#$%^&*? Orcs? Funny???

Whatching old and new good cartoons we were crying very often. Both :) We were sorry about pain or death of sood heros.

But yes we also were in tears when Boromir was dying... Just heartbreaking moment.

The death of Boromir is a heartbreaking moment. (Though, I have to say, the death of Haldir in the second movie is even more heartbreaking, because it didn't happen in the book.)
