Oh yeah--Holy Week is always super-busy around here, what with Mom directing the choir and all. One service on Maundy Thursday, one for the vigil on Saturday, and two for Easter Sunday. There was a service on Good Friday as well, but with no music, so she got off the hook for that one. AND Sunday was Mom's birthday, so we went out for dinner after.

As you know, I'm not religious, but I always go to support her. And because they're good folks and I like seeing them every week. Also, I have a pretty good ear, so Mom likes to ask me things like, "How did the anthem go?" when we come up to the altar rail for communion.

Matter of fact, fangirling has been the least of my worries this week. It's been nuts for like four other reasons. Just these past two weeks. MCR breaking up was just the LAST thing I expected, on top of everything else. Will be blogging about it soon.

Wow, that is a lot of services! Is the choir a big one? Sure sounds like it. How many songs does the choir usually have to sing per service?

To be honest, with the church my family goes to, I mostly go because my best friend goes there, and that's where I met her. Don't get much from the sermons (pastor, bless his heart, is well-meaning, but can't really make a point with meaning). Some Sundays, I don't even go.

I missed the Easter service, due to cramps, but luckily they went away, and I had a good time watching TV with my Mom and finishing off Mistborn. Can't wait to start the next book. :D
